Desinstalando o Tails usando o Linux

To uninstall Tails from a USB stick, and use it for something else, you have to format it.

The content of the USB stick is lost in the operation, but an attacker might still be able to tell that Tails was installed on that USB stick using data recovery techniques.

Comece pelo Linux ou pelo Tails.

To uninstall a Tails USB stick while running Tails from that same USB stick, add the toram boot option in the Boot Loader. See uninstalling Tails using Tails itself.
Instale Discos GNOME.
- Se você estiver usando o ambiente de área de trabalho GNOME, o GNOME Disks deverá ser instalado por padrão.
- Caso contrário, instale o pacote gnome-disk-utility usando o método de instalação usual para sua distribuição.
Make sure that the USB stick that you want to uninstall is unplugged.
Abra Discos do GNOME (também chamados de Discos).

Por exemplo, você pode pressionar a tecla Super (), então digite discos e selecione Discos.

Os dispositivos de armazenamento no computador são listados no painel esquerdo.
Conecte o pen drive que deseja desinstalar.

Um novo dispositivo aparece na lista de dispositivos de armazenamento. Selecione-o.
In the right pane of the window, verify that the device corresponds to the USB stick that you want to uninstall, its brand, its size, etc.

You might overwrite any hard disk on the computer.

If you are not sure about the device, stop proceeding.
To format the USB stick, select the button in the title bar and choose Format Disk to erase all the existing partitions on the device.
Na caixa de diálogo Formatar disco:
- Se quiser substituir todos os dados no dispositivo, escolha Substituir dados existentes por zeros no menu Apagar.
- 1. Escolha Compatível com todos os sistemas e dispositivos (MBR/DOS) no menu de Particionamento
Clique em Formatar.
Na caixa de diálogo de confirmação, clique em Formatar para confirmar.
Para garantir que todas as alterações sejam gravadas no pendrive, selecione o botão na barra de título.
